The calculator first subtracts the transfer fee from the amount sent. The remaining amount is then multiplied by the exchange rate you provide to estimate the recipient's amount.
Actual international transfers can include exchange-rate spreads, correspondent-bank charges, receiving-bank fees, taxes and other provider-specific costs. Those items are not automatically known by this calculator.
The calculator subtracts the entered fee from the amount sent, floors the net amount at zero, then multiplies the result by the exchange rate. The rate is interpreted as target-currency units per source-currency unit.
Formula: estimated received amount = max(0, amount sent − transfer fee) × exchange rate. For example, 1,000 less a fee of 10 leaves 990; at 3.75, the estimate is 3,712.50 target units.
This simplified model assumes the fee is deducted from the entered amount and excludes additional intermediary or recipient-bank charges, taxes and changes to the quoted rate. Use the provider's final quote for an actual transfer.
